Wilmslow Guild - An Independent Centre for Adult Education

The Wilmslow Guild is an independent, self-governing body, non-party and non sectarian. Founded in 1926, its original aims remain unchanged. Now, as then, they are:

"To provide a centre in which men and women may find opportunities for the enrichment of life through education, fellowship and co-operative effort for the welfare of the community."

The Guild is run largely by volunteers who deal with enrolment and office administration. The clubs, groups and societies depend on volunteers to implement the planning and organisation of their programmes and activities. Without its volunteers, the Guild could not have developed the service it now offers to its members, and we acknowledge the value of their contributions. The experience and expertise of Guild members is always welcome.

Membership of the Guild is open to all aged 16 years and above.
