Wilmslow Guild Players was formed in 1926 as an amateur theatre group. We perform in the main hall which has excellent lighting and sound facilities and offers total flexibility from proscenium arch to in-the-round staging. Productions range from comedies to classics and from mysteries to our ever-popular Christmas pantomime. We also present an annual competitive festival of one-act plays. New members are always welcome irrespective of previous experience and interests. We offer opportunities to the experienced who wish to get involved straight away and to newcomers who often like to build up their confidence and experience through gradual involvement in a friendly informal environment.

The advent of digital photography means that more people are taking photographs than ever before. The spread of home computers and cheap image manipulating software has made people aware that the picture they take is not an end in itself; it is a just a beginning. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Most households today possess the necessary hardware, and the software is not expensive. More and more people are moving to audio-visual as an outlet for their creative ambitions.
The Wilmslow Guild A-V Group, formed in 1993, has members ranging from those who “just like messing about” to those seeking the highest distinctions and awards. So far we have won the Club Gold Medal at each National A-V Championship since we were formed.

The Society is for everyone who enjoys taking photographs whether in digital or traditional film formats and from beginner to expert - new members are welcome. The aim of the Society is to provide an outlet for its members’ work and to develop their compositional and technical skills including digital enhancement in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
