Jenny Morris

I taught in Primary schools before setting up my own Nursery School. I have written magazine articles and books for Scholastic Publications in the Themes for Early Years series. I have been teaching Bridge at Wilmslow Guild for the last 10 years. I am a bridge Life Master, have played bridge for Manchester County and reached the top division of the Manchester League. I enjoy playing rubber and duplicate bridge and play in local clubs at least once a week. One of the most important features of my bridge classes, apart from learning bridge, is the emphasis on students forming friendships enabling them to play bridge socially. This is especially important for those living on their own. It is said that one should never approach old age without having learnt to play bridge – I firmly believe this and stress that it is never too late to learn!

Qualifications:

I am a qualified school teacher and have been trained to teach bridge by the English Bridge Union (EBU). I am a member of EBUTA, the Education arm of the EBU. Before teaching bridge I qualified as teacher of English Speaking to foreign adults and children (TESOL).
